Why haven’t we written a review of the Flavia Fusion Drinks Station?

We have been asked why we haven’t featured the Flavia Fusion Drinks Station as a one cup coffee maker.

The Flavia Fusion Drinks Station is one of those systems that makes more than just coffee. It makes single servings of coffee, espresso, latte, hot chocolate, tea...and even a range of herbal health teas.

In total there are about 30 drinks available in the Flavia “filterpack” format.

But of those 30 drinks, only 18 are coffee.

That’s a pretty skinny selection if you’re a coffee lover.

In addition, you can only use Flavia filterpacks in the Flavia Fusion Drinks Station. And you can only get your filterpacks from Flavia.

You can’t even get them through other large retailers like Amazon.com.

Also, although we have heard great things about the machine itself, the filterpack drinks themselves get pretty mixed reviews.

Yes, the Flavia Fusion Drinks Station is technically a one cup coffee maker.

But to our minds, there are too many strikes against it to merit a full review and recommendation on this site.

If and when they offer a much wider range of coffees in the filterpack format, and make the filterpacks more readily available through other retailers...then we’ll write the review.
